I started teaching myself guitar in the summer of 1998. I was involved in choir and band all throughout my Jr High and High School years, I also played in the student jazz band and extracurricular choir ensembles. By my junior year I was a section leader in each group. At my graduation I was awarded the Directors Award by the performing arts departments for excellence. After High School I went to The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences and then became an intern for Larry Crane of Jackpot! Recording and Tape Op magazine. Since 2005 I have been working as a freelance sound engineer, musician, and music teacher.
