Accordion Lessons

The Accordion is a box-shaped instrument played by means of bellows which force air over reeds, providing a unique and quite distinct sound. The Accordion is called a “one-man band” because of the full, complex sound it produces, as well as the ease that it’s operator has in playing many simultaneous notes. The Accordion is found in many styles and genres of music, from Classical to Italian folk music.

An Accordion teacher will give lessons which help a student comprehend the musical possibilities afforded by the complex key structure that an Accordion has. Students will enjoy learning to play their own music, as well as play with other groups of musicians if they desire. Accordions can be purchased as cheaply as $150.00 to $300.00.
